Today the card on my blog is a card I made for a Forest swap. I have been in several of the "Forest Friends" swap on SCS and they are wonderful swaps with a GREAT group of ladies!
Our challenge for this swap was to create any card with a forest theme. However, we were to use a recycled item on our card.
My image is "Maxwell" from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps and I thought he was just perfect for a forest themed swap. I used Natural White, Not Quite Navy, Ruby Red and Mellow Moss cardstock. My designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket. I created the flower in the corner with my scalloped circle and circle punches using a brown lunch bag my son brought home. I added an artichoke button to the center of the flower. I used my scalloped ovals and oval Nestabilities to frame the image.
Thanks for stopping by.
