January Duel

Hello and HAPPY 2016 to all of you.

Our January challenge was a soup theme. Barb and Tracie were our hostesses.  Tracie sent the Dazzlers the following kit.

Image:  Chick N Soup by CC Designs
Sentiment: Crackerbox Palace
DP: Bo Bunny Juliet
Misc. Embellishments

Here's my card...

The added challenge was to post our favorite soup recipe.  This chili recipe is my favorite.

Brown 1 pound hamburger with 2 stalks of celery and 1 1/4 cup of onion.  Then add 1 large can of tomato soup and 1 large can of beans (either chili beans or kidney beans) and cook for 10 minutes.
Make a paste of 2T chili powder, 1T flour, 1tsp salt and 3T water.  Stir paste into chili and simmer 45 minutes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Please visit all the Dueling Darlings blogs and check out their creations and favorite soup recipes.
