August Duel

I apologize my post is a day late.  I was on the road yesterday driving home from being away.  And I have absolutely no luck when I set my blog posts to post on a certain day and time.  So better late than never!!

Judy and I were hostesses this month and in honor of the 2016 Summer Olympics our theme was "Going to Rio with the Olympic Darlings."

The Dazzlers' kits included:
Image:  Penny Black “Gymnast Mimi”

DP:        Scrapbook Customs – "Cheerleading Star Field"
              Karen Foster – "Everything Gymnastics"

Embellishments:
Blue Twine from K&Co.
White Twine from Stampin’ Up!
Red/White Twine – dollar bin Michaels
Gold & Silver Cord – Stampin’ Up!
Star Brads – Stampin’ Up!
Here is my card:

Special instructions were to post our favorite Olympic event in our post.  While I really enjoy the women's gymnastics, my most favorite for the past couple of Olympics is womens beach volleyball.  Go team USA!!!

If you have not done so already, please check out all the Darlings websites to see their Gold Medal creations!
