April Calendar Girls Challenge

It's the 28th of the month and that means it's time for the Calendar Girls Challenge. Our hostess, Terry, knowing how tired we all are of winter and figuring we are all looking forward to spring SHOWERS that bring summer flowers challenged us to create a card using an image of a duck, puddle, umbrella or anything resembling rain or water. And secondly, we were to use a technique on our card that was water related.

Because my image was small, I used the Folded Paper Frame technique (found at Splitcoast Stampers) to frame my image. My image is from CTMH and colored with Copics. I used Taken with Teal, Basic Black, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie cardstock. My designer paper is Funfetti Streamer from We R Memory Keepers. The splish splash sticker is from a scrapbook kit I picked up in the $1 section at Target. For my water related technique, I used Crystal Effects on the ripples around the duck and on the water spouting from his mouth.

Thank you for stopping by. To check out the other Calendar Girls' creations please see my sidebar. Have a great day!
